In a Boko Haram attack in Cameroon, two people were killed.
Security and local sources said Tuesday that at least two civilians were murdered when Boko Haram insurgents stormed a settlement of civilians in Cameroon's Far North Region.
In the area's Tourou Village, the assault happened on Tuesday around 1:00 a.m. local time.
According to a military official in the area who asked to remain anonymous, the two victims were attacked while they were asleep inside their home. He added that during the raid, the militants also took valuables and food.
Security reports state that only two days prior to the incident, Cameroonian troops killed at least ten terrorists who attempted to attack three military positions in the area.
