Actress Yvonne Nelson of Ghana has responded to rapper Sarkodie's criticism of her in his latest song, "Try Me."

Remember that the actress recently published her book, "I Am Not Yvonne Nelson," in which she described her life experiences, including her relationships with people like Iyanya and Sarkodie.

She alleged on Sarkodie that he got her pregnant in 2010 and forced her to terminate the child.

Sarkodie clapped back at her and used the microphone to explain his side of the story. She was the one who requested an abortion, he claimed, since she wanted to finish school.

Additionally, he urged her to come clean about all the men she had slept with.

Through her Twitter account, Yvonne Nelson responded to the song by launching a series of rants to refute Sarkodie's assertion and label his claims as lies.

Her words are:

Insults wont work michael. Respect womanhood , Im happy the world gets to see how you are playing this and the real you. Young women get to learn from this. You would get the applause for a rap.still doesnt change the TRUTH.

In my book, i narrated how you got me pregnant, How you couldnt wait for me to get rid of it. How you DROVE me to have an abortion. As usual, you want to use rap to rubbish a pain a young woman felt. We both have daughters, lets see what life throws at them.

Michael , you claim I was desperate to abort because I needed to complete school. In 2010 when I became pregnant, I had completed university. Anybody can verify this. I wasnt in school and you know it. If you want to lie, find a logical lie.

And would you have readily agreed for me to keep a pregnancy when you were in a serious relationship with another lady who would become your wife? Your street line is played out..
