Despite the fact that Kounde has stated that he does not want to leave the club, the Reds are still attempting to lure him away from Barcelona. The young Frenchman has yet to reach his full potential for the Spanish team, owing primarily to Xavi's decision to play him as a right-back rather than in the center.
