Zlatan Ibrahimovic "hated" Edinson Cavani while the two were teammates at Paris Saint-Germain, according to a former teammate.
Ibrahimovic and Cavani joined PSG a year apart, coming from Serie A in 2012 and 2013, respectively, as the club's new Qatari owners planned to make a big push in Europe.
They appeared 107 times together, earning three consecutive Ligue One titles as well as several domestic awards.

According to Michael Ciani, who played with Ibrahimovic at LA Galaxy, the Swedish superstar disliked Cavani, who was one of four people he disliked during his career.
"He told me that everything was fine with [then-manager] Laurent Blanc at PSG," Ciani said in 2020 to RMC Sport.
"He didn't get anyone else."Everything indicates that Kylian Mbappe will join Real Madrid next year.

Both Cavani and Ibrahimovic scored over 100 goals at PSG and, at different points in their careers, made the identical next move.
After leaving PSG in 2016, Ibrahimovic joined Manchester United on a free transfer, and Cavani followed suit four years later.

In Paris, the Uruguayan broke Ibrahimovic's goalscoring record, ending with 200 goals in 301 appearances.
Later in his career, Cavani had a falling out with Neymar, with the two arguing about penalties during their time together.
Ibrahimovic declared his retirement from professional football at the end of the 22/23 season during AC Milan's final Serie A match.
