HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PRAY FOR ANYTHING FROM GOD?
The answer to this query is that you should keep asking questions until you find the solution.
It would be foolish to pose the same question once you think you know the solution.
But how can you tell when you have the solution? What information will you need to be convinced you
know the answer?
In Mark 11:24, Jesus stated that we should have faith that our prayers are answered. Long prayers are not the secret to receiving from God; instead, it is faith. What differentiates us is what we believe.
MATTHEW 6:7 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
It is not necessary to keep pleading with God until He finally backs down and grants your request to be successful in your prayers.
Jesus said that our beliefs determine what we receive via prayer. According to Mark 11:24, we should have faith that God will answer our prayers.
We only need to believe that God has granted our request and the solution is on its way to us—not that we have what we asked for.
How many times would you request a favor from a friend? You would only ask them till they replied yes unless you are forgetful or insane. If you believe them after they've promised anything to you, you can be confident that they will carry it out. It would be impolite and inconsiderate to keep asking someone to act on something after they have already agreed to do it.
MATTHEW 21:22 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
What you believe is the crucial element. You should pray again if you don't think God heard and addressed your request. However, you must understand that you are to blame and not God.
Jesus said that we must ask in faith if we want to receive from God.
"What then should I pray for? What should I say in my prayer time tomorrow?"
When you talk to God about your desire tomorrow, you should thank him if you feel that God has responded "yes" to your request today. "We are grateful that You are at work and the solution is on the Way. I'm grateful that You heard my plea. We are grateful for how well things are going."
"But nothing has changed yet", you object.
If you believe that, it means you only base your beliefs on information generated from your current situation. You do not see the Word of God as credible proof.
SAY WITH FAITH: Once something has been given to you, it is not necessary to ask for it again.
May God increase and Bless you
May He Favor You?
Receive speed in Jesus' Name Amen.
