Hakim Ziyech takes an attack after Chelsea's second departure attempt fails.

Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech was expected to leave the club this summer after an unimpressive spell at Stamford Bridge, but a transfer to Saudi club Al-Nassr fell through.

Chelsea is looking for a replacement. After his deal to Saudi club Al-Nassr fell through, Hakim Ziyech has taken aim at critics who suggest he lacks fitness.

The Moroccan winger was rumored to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge to join Cristiano Ronaldo in the Gulf state. The Blues were reportedly ready to receive £8 million for Ziyech's services.

Following his £33 million move from Ajax, the 30-year-old forward's three-year tenure in West London was about to come to an end. He has made 107 appearances for Chelsea since then, but has only scored 14 goals, just six of which have come in the Premier League.

His move to Al-Nassr, however, has fallen through, with the Saudi side citing knee concerns discovered during his physical. As a result, they have withdrawn from a transaction.

This appears to have infuriated Ziyech, who took to social media to refute the charges. An shot on his Instagram story shows the wide receiver, presumably in training, with the caption: "Knee problems right??"

This is accompanied by a series of laughing emojis, emphasizing Ziyech's displeasure. Meanwhile, GOAL reports that the medical was not the cause of the move's demise.

It is stated that Al-Nassr withdrew their first offer before attempting to offer him a lower wage package than the one originally agreed upon. Regardless, Ziyech's second Chelsea exit has already fallen through.

He was previously on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain on loan in January. However, because to issues with the documentation between the French giants and Chelsea, Ligue 1 rejected the transfer, forcing Ziyech to remain at Stamford Bridge.

He will now begin looking for another prospective move away from the Blues, having already stated that he will be in charge of making decisions about his future from now on. "I have reached a point in my life where I feel the time is right for me to take full control over my professional future," he said in a statement last summer.
