So far, a review of 2023 summer transfer data reveals that a large number of players have been loaned out to new clubs. However, just five of them are currently worth more than €5 million. Who are these high-value borrowers?Fábio Carvalho is the most valuable player who will be playing on loan in 2023/24. His market value is €16 million. This attacking midfielder will start the new season for RB Leipzig. Liverpool has loaned out the former Portugal U21 international. After joining the Reds last summer, the dynamic attacker made 21 appearances for the Merseyside club, scoring three goals. Klopp has decided to loan away the 20-year-old following the signing of two top midfielders.


Leonardo Fernández, the next player on the, plays in the same primary position as Carvalho. Unlike the Portuguese, though, Fernandez's transfer is from Toluca (Mexico) to Fluminense (Brazil) for a loan fee. This €7 million star accepted a transfer for aJosé Luis Mato Sanmartn (aka Joselu) and Abdallah Sima are the next two players in this category. These stars are each worth €6 million. The former transferred from Espanyol to Real Madrid on loan for a cost of €500,000. So far, he is the most expensive loanee in Europe. Meanwhile, the attackers appeared in 38 games for his parent club previous season. He was involved in the process with 21 goals.


Sima moved from Brighton in the English Premier League to Scottish powerhouse Rangers. He will be loaned out for the third time after joining the Seagulls for €8 million in the summer of 2021. Meanwhile, the Senegalese right winger scored eight goals while on loan at Angers SCO. Read more.

Manchester United revealed Mason Mount's arrival just days after Liverpool announced Dominik Szoboszlai as their second summer signing.


The 24-year-old has signed a long-term contract at Old Trafford, just months after the Reds were linked with a move for the former Chelsea midfielder.



Liverpool were alleged to have pursued the England international after abandoning Jude Bellingham. However, Jurgen Klopp's side turned their attention to Brighton & Hove Albion's Alexis Mac Allister, who was near the top of the transfer shortlist at the start of May.


According to reports, the price tag, wage demands, and allure of Champions League football were deciding factors in Mount's departure from the Stamford Bridge club - and his next destination.
