The Ghana Police Service has released details and pictures of six other macho men that are suspected to have participated in the killing of 22 year old soldier in Ashaiman that eventually led to the invasion of the military on Tuesday.
Within a period of a week, the Ghana Police Service indicated in their official press statement that they have been able to arrest six suspects so far. According to the Police, they had received reports that a young man has been stabbed to death in Ashaiman. Upon reaching the scene, they found deadly weapons like knife. Aside that, other belongings such as a Samsung tablet, an apple laptop and a military uniform. What made his identity known was the tag with the name " Imoro" , his Ghana Card and Health Insurance card.
The Ghana Police Service immediately started their investigations which led to the arrest of these six persons. The first two to be arrested were Safianu Musah and Ibrahim Abdul who were still hiding in Ashaiman. Further investigation led to the arrest of the other four namely, Samuel Tetteh, Abubakar Saddick, Abdul Karim and Yussif Mohammed. According to police investigation, Samuel Tetteh and Abdul are said to have attacked the soldier around 1: 45am to rob him of his phone.
As expected, Imoro Sherif now deceased struggled with them in an attempt to protect his belongings. In their exchanges, a knife was pulled by the armed thugs and he was stabbed. The young soldier is said to have bled to death despite he begging for help, there was none to help at that godly hour.
The postmortem report showed that most of his major vessels were destroyed during the stabbing and that caused his death. The Ghana Police Service assured the general public and family of Late Imoro Sherif that all suspects will be brought before a competent court of jurisdiction for the law to take it full course.
