Murder suspect is turned over by family to police
After being informed that he had reportedly killed another person during a bar fight, a murder suspect turned himself in to the police.
A murder charge against 35-year-old Hatcliffe resident Dennis Magweta was presented to the court yesterday.
Magweta was held in detention until July 19 while authorities finished their inquiries.
It was revealed during the court proceedings that on Friday, Magweta and the person who has now gone away were both consuming beer at the GGM Sports Bar in the Hatcliffe Shopping Center.
As their argument heated up, Magweta struck the now-deceased twice in the face.
The individual thus sustained two significant face lacerations that resulted in significant bleeding. Magweta then continued to brutally kick the victim in the face before disappearing into the shadows.
After the event was reported to the Hatcliffe Police Post, the victim was sent to Parirenyatwa Hospital. Sadly, he passed away from his wounds the next day.
What an unforgiving world as love just blinds us over what we not suppose to do.
