Rasmus Hojlund has emerged as a top target for Manchester United
Manchester United are ready to splash £50million on breakthrough Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund.
The Atalanta ace, 20, enjoyed an eye-catching campaign in Serie A last term, notching nine goals in 32 appearances.
According to The Telegraph, United have made the youngster — who has also bagged six times in just five senior international caps — their top striking target.
Having been considered alongside Eintracht Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani, manager Erik ten Hag has now made his preference for Hojlund clear to Old Trafford chiefs.
The Red Devils are working under a limited budget this summer due to financial fair play constraints but believe they can still find £50m to strike a deal for the hotshot.
United are also hoping to wrap up the signing of Andre Onana after personal terms were agreed with the Inter Milan goalkeeper, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has reported.
Those incomings will only increase the need for player sales, with Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho, Fred, Scott McTominay, Antony Martial, Alex Telles, Anthony Elanga and Eric Bailly all likely to be moved on.
