During a dispute in Cameroon over a young woman, a man stabbed to death his own brother. The victim was just 13 years old.
The local media reports that the occurrence took place over the last weekend in the Mbagassina Subdivision of the Mbam and Kim Division of the Center Region of Cameroon. However, the photographs and information did not begin to spread until several days later due to the lack of connectivity in the area.
According to the information acquired, the two brothers got into a violent altercation over the young girl who is not quite a teenager yet.
"One of the brothers, who later turned out to be the deceased, asserted that the woman was his fiancée. Gildas, a witness, stated their story to a journalist on Thursday, July 6. "He had been suspecting that his brother had something to do with his girlfriend because of how close they were," Gildas said.
"Before the conflict began, one of the brothers had looked for the girl but had been unsuccessful. As he was walking down the road, he happened to see her with the other brother. After that, he questioned the girl, demanding to know what she was doing there, and the girl's brother attempted to step in and protect her.
"At this point, he became furious, made his way to the house, obtained a machete, and proceeded to attack the brother. The brother quickly grabbed a knife from nearby, and in retaliation, he ended the other brother's life. That was the manner in which he passed away," Gildas continued.
