The foreign player from Germany arrived in Ghana over the weekend and has been spotted socializing with buddies while on vacation.
As they both took advantage of their off-season break, Rudiger was pictured with Ghanaian player Kingsley Schindler.
Prior to his trip to Ghana, Rudiger traveled to his native Sierra Leone, where he donated to charitable causes on behalf of his foundation, the Antonio Rudiger Foundation.
Relatedly, Ghana was the destination for the summer vacations of Dutch players Georgino Wijnaldum and Memphis Depay of Atletico Madrid.
For the holidays, the two footballers traveled to Ghana. While there, they stopped by a gym in the city to meet some of the budding boxers.
The couple may be seen interacting with young boxers in social media videos before contributing to the gym's remodeling.
Depay was born in the city of Moordrecht to a Ghanaian father and a Dutch mother. His breakthrough came with PSV Eindhoven, and he later attracted the attention of Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.
Wijnaldum, who presently plays for the Netherlands, also had a stepfather from Ghana in the past.There was divorce between his parents when he was six years old.
He previously played for Feyenoord and PSV and won the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool.
In the beginning of his career, Rüdiger played for VfB Stuttgart's reserves in the 3. Liga and the first squad in the Bundesliga. He joined Roma in 2015, initially on loan and then for a €9 million price the following year. He was acquired by Chelsea in 2017 for an estimated £27 million, and during his time there, he won the FA Cup in his first season, the UEFA Europa League the following year, and the UEFA Champions League in 2021. Rüdiger joined Real Madrid, the reigning champions of Europe, in 2022.
In May 2014, he made his international debut for Germany. He was part of the team that won the squad for UEFA Euro 2016, but he was forced to miss it owing to an injury he sustained earlier in the season.
