In shocking news a pastor has been reportedly arrested, in furthermore, the judge demanded the seizure of Hyundai Mighty II truck, assets of the convicts and the National Investment Bank (NIB) account, Adéntan branch of the first convict, Tsogbe, to be frozen.
Again, even though the defendants, Tsogbe, 33, and Esther, 63, were charged with conspiracy and theft, the judge only found them guilty of the theft charge after the prosecution dropped the conspiracy case.
The complainant/victim' s niece lived in Kpando, in the Volta Region, while the victim/pensioner, Fred Martin Amlor, lived in Danfa, Accra, according to the prosecutor, Chief Inspector Maxwell Lanyo.
The victim was persuaded in 2022 by the prisoners that they could solve his problems if he would let them live with him, the prosecutor claims, through the use of bogus prophesies.
The attorney general said five months into the living arrangement, the convicts sacked the current residence' s help, brought in their own and succeeded to steal the target' s NIB ATM card and Check book.
The prosecutor continued by saying that the niece, who had returned home to take care of her uncle' s financial needs, realized the ATM card and checkbook had been taken by the criminals.
The prosecution continued by saying that Tsogbe and Esther, the two defendants, were detained and questioned over the course of the inquiry and both admitted to the crime.
@Kojo Ampah: This is a disgraceful act, how could you call yourself a pastor and at the same time commit such a crime? This is a very shameful act, may God have mercy on us.
@Gumah Lasman: Nowadays, there are no loyal people on this earth any more just imagine who commit such crime, I can' t even say the name that person calling himself a pastor is robber and not a pastor as he called himself.
