There's a viral picture circulation on social media that has got people talking, in the circulating picture, it was gathered that a year one student of an unknown university was seen correcting his lecturer in front of the whole assembly, arguing that, the answer of his lecturer's question was wrong. Users jumped into the comments section to add their one cent to the ongoing discussion. Most users revealed that they once failed their respective courses for correcting their lecturer and according to them, the particular subject they failed was the one taught by the lecturers.

A few of the comments gathered on the trending pictures are highlighted below;

@walshakg….

“When I was in year one, that was how I and others used to correct our lecturers, and year 2 students that were doing one borrowed course with us were just staring at us. When our first semester results came out, we started keeping quiet in class during lectures”.

“You just said he is correcting the lecturer. It means the lecturer might have made a mistake somewhere he took note of. Lecturers are not gods, they are allowed to make mistakes”.

@SamChine1 •

“Well if it's where the saying goes "we learn every day, then this shouldn't be a problem" but COs and D-grades shall not pass him by”.

@Sonofpharoh •

“This is one thing that shocked me when I got back. always argued with my lecturers because they were aware of their blind spots and relied on students to correct them. Taking a postgraduate course here in Naija taught me that for Nigerians it's disrespectful”.

@thatboy davylln •

“This goes to show that the education system is degrading. because why am I seeing "he will have

C.O and fail in the cs". If lecturers can't accept they are wrong or see the point to what the student is saying then maybe they should not be lecturing. We all learn every day”.

@BadmanRiano •

“Lmao I remember how I was so good in ICT that other students enjoyed my practical teachings more than the lecturer bruh He failed me”.
