Henderson has emerged as a target for a move to the Saudi Pro League. He has emerged as a target for a number of clubs, including Al-Ettifaq, which recently appointed his former Reds teammate Steven Gerrard as manager.

Fabinho, meanwhile, has reportedly become a target for Al Ittihad, with the Saudi Pro League champions said to be willing to offer around £40 million for the 29-year-old Brazil international.

There have been claims that representatives from both players have already held talks with interested clubs, although mixed messages have emerged over whether Henderson in particular would entertain a transfer to Saudi Arabia.

But as of Friday lunchtime, Liverpool had not received any official communication from potential suitors of either Henderson or Fabinho regarding a potential move away from Anfield. Reports overnight suggested Al-Ettifaq were cooling their interest in Henderson due to the Reds unwillingness to let the 33-year-old England international leave.

Henderson still has two years remaining on his current deal, with Liverpool likely to reference the £20 million Al Hilal spent on taking 32-year-old Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea last month in any possible negotiations.

With no transfer seemingly imminent, both Henderson and Fabinho are now expected to be part of the Liverpool squad that jets out to Germany on Saturday. This is to begin a 10-day training camp. Jurgen Klopp's side play their first pre-season friendly at Karlsruhe on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho form an integral part of Liverpool's new-look midfield. So the Club sees all the rumors as futile and unnecessary. They will obviously know what to do when an offer comes.

In the beginning of last season, the Brazilian suffered a dip in form, and this did Liverpool very well as they lost the chance to be in the top four to compete in the elite European competition, the Champions League.

Both Fabinho and Henderson will be happy to stay at Anfield, but they can also take the chance and the big money when it comes.
