Man United issue a statement following Mason Mount's refusal to sign autographs.

Mason Mount, a Manchester United midfielder who joined the club in the summer transfer window, was caught on camera refusing to autograph a supporter's shirt, and the video quickly went viral on social media.

Manchester United has come out in support of Mason Mount after video of him refusing to sign autographs went viral on social media.

Mount, who arrived from Chelsea earlier this summer, was captured on camera as two people attempted to get a garment signed. The footage of the former Chelsea midfielder refusing and walking away quickly went popular on social media.

United, on the other hand, has accused the group of being "professional autograph hunters" who continue to force players to sign memorabilia in order to sell it afterwards. The club has stated that the situation is becoming a big concern at Carrington and has threatened to take action if it continues.

"Unfortunately, this type of situation has become far too common," according to a statement. It's the last thing Mason deserves after being so pleasant to everyone he's met since joining United.

"Professional autograph hunters regularly put pressure on Manchester United players to sign large quantities of items, which they then sell for hundreds of pounds."

"It's become a daily occurrence and a major issue at Carrington." These organized gangs will stop the players' cars and harass them as they arrive and leave work. It is becoming really dangerous, and you must be concerned that it is only a matter of time until someone is injured.

"It also means that young fans who just want to interact with their heroes frequently miss out because players can't stop taking pictures with them without engaging with the groups."

"It's a real annoyance for everyone, and security is in regular contact with the players about how to solve the problem." If this trend continues, action will undoubtedly be taken."
