The Saying "Never, never give up means to keep up and never stop working for your goals.
Indeed, I agree with this statement.
The act of never giving up can be coined the term relentlessness or determination. This has to do with striving hard to achieve one's aims and aspirations despite the obstacles, impediments, and challenges that emanate from all spheres of life, be they friends, family, limitations, or others. Everyone has a goal or achievement in life and has plans on how he or she can ensure its accomplishment, no matter the challenges.
Goals in life come in the form of personal goals, financial goals, spiritual goals, career goals, fitness goals, family goals, and intellectual goals. All these goals are burdened on individuals based on their responsibilities and roles as individuals, in the family, and in society. Some goals are short-lived, while others are long-term goals. Goals, especially long-term ones, require an attitude of consistency to be able to achieve them.
A case study is that when small babies learn to walk, they fall down many times. But they do not give up. They keep trying, and when they make it, their happy faces say it all. It is rightly said, “Winners never quit, and quitters never win." I remember that one moment in the late 90s. It was half past ten in the night, and my uncle was telling my grandfather that he could not work more in that company because they were not paying him well according to his qualifications, and he wanted to quit that job.
Taking Maslow's hierarchy theory of needs, before one would reach the pinnacle, it requires a lot of work and struggles. One would be faced with security issues in a bid to satisfy them, but a determined person should take up his mantle and devise strategic plans in order to curb such situations. All levels of needs come with their respective risks, and so one should not be tired at any point in achieving his or her goals.
Self-motivation, support, and encouragement are pre-requisite factors required to curb all forms of challenges one faces in his or her endeavors.
In conclusion, a determined person should never give up on achieving his or her aims and, as such, should work towards them until they are fully accomplished.
