According to Chairman IB, also known as the Game Changer, aspirants need to focus their campaigns on subjects that would ultimately benefit the NPP's effort to "Break The Eight."
As the competition for the party's flagbearership and the parliamentary primaries heats up, Chairman IB emphasised how important it is to run a campaign that is both clean and courteous.
On Saturday, July 15, 2023, Chairman IB emphasised the importance of unity within the NPP when he was speaking to members of the media in Techiman.
He reaffirmed that in order to combat the NDC, which he referred to as the "main enemy," it is essential for all groups within the family to acknowledge that it is vital to present a united front.
The Chairman of the IB indicated that everyone present needs to be aware that this campaign is for an internal election. The NDC will be our primary adversary in the year 2024. As you begin this campaign, I ask that we avoid from speaking ill of one another and from criticising the administration that was formed by Akofo Addo Bawumia. This is the very legacy that we are going to build our campaign on as a party heading into the election in 2024.
He proceeded by saying, "We seek peace, a clean campaign, and an equitable election." We do not want anyone to participate in any kind of hostile behaviour towards the others they are competing against. Following the elections, we will be in need of everyone's assistance in order to take on the NDC.
Therefore, Chairman IB has requested that all campaign teams and well-wishers be aware of the language that they use in order to preserve the unity of the party.
"We are one family, and it is essential for us to stay unified. As soon as the competition is over, we are going to come together as a unified group with the goal of preventing the NDC from regaining power. That cohesion is of the utmost significance. The Bono East Regional Chairman proclaimed, "Let us maintain the NPP's position of power and foster unity within the party."
