Veteran Nigerian maker and artist, Michael Collins Ajereh, otherwise known as Wear Lively, has uncovered that amazing performer, Daddy Showkey was his good example while experiencing childhood in Ajegunle, Lagos.
He said he was propelled by Daddy Showkey and Baba Fryo to do music.
Wear Fun said he began his music vocation in the congregation as an instrumentalist since he was unable to manage the cost of studio meetings then.
The music chief revealed this while highlighting as a visitor on the most recent episode of the List of competitors webcast facilitated by Fisayo Fosudo.
He said, "My music motivation began from Ajegunle on the grounds that dem Daddy Showkey, dem Baba Fryo, a ton of this large number of Ajegunle performers that we gazed upward to.
"I used to let my folks know that when I began making music, I basically simply needed to blow and be Daddy Showkey in light of the fact that anyplace you went to in the country, you will hear, 'Assuming you see my mom, hosanna' or 'Someone call out to me, Showkey.'
"Trust me, the verses are public songs of devotion. I basically needed to do that. Along these lines, I used to go to chapel and play instruments. It was the main spot that you would be able… Except if you need to go to studios which would cost cash. Around then, we were unable to bear to have meetings. Thus, the best spot that you can get free gear is the congregation. Rather than doing the ragga, the reggae, you proceed to do gospel first."
Biography Of Don Jazzy
Don Jazzy was conceived Micheal Collins Ajereh in Umuahia, Abia State, on 26 November 1982, the child of Collins Enebeli Ajereh and Mrs Ajereh. His dad is from Isoko in Delta State. His mom is an Igbo princess from Abia state and his dad is an individual from the Isoko public.
Ajereh's family moved to Ajegunle, Lagos, where Wear Energetic was raised. He was taught at the co-instructive secondary school, National Government School Lagos. Jazzy Lively tracked down an interest in music right off the bat throughout everyday life and at age 12, started to play the bass and piano. He additionally acquired information on conventional and percussion instruments. Wear Energetic signed up for business the board and learned at the Ambrose Alli College, Ekpoma, Edo state.
