ATTA FACTORIES LIBRARY TO WORK IN 90 DAYS AS TRAVELER AND SCHOLARLY FOCUS

Mamdev Ghana Restricted, the project worker accountable for the Prof John Evans Fiifi Atta Factories Official Library in Cape Coast has ultimately given the office over to the public authority for redesign and dispatching.



The office is currently in the possession of the Ghana The travel industry Authority (GTA), the Ghana Exhibition halls and Landmarks Board (GMMB) and the Ghana Library Authority (GLA) who have set out to make it run in three months or less.


The three foundations will work in close joint effort with different partners, including the group of the late President, to raise the structure to the norm of an ideal social and scholarly legacy community to advance the travel industry.






The one-story office, sitting eye to eye with the Cape Coast Palace, was assembled, authorized, and gave over to the College of Cape Coast (UCC) by the recent John Mahama's organization to pay tribute to the late President.


The three organizations will work in close coordinated effort with different partners, including the group of the late President, to raise the structure to the norm of an ideal social and scholarly legacy community to advance the travel industry.






The one-story office, sitting eye to eye with the Cape Coast Palace, was constructed, appointed, and gave over to the College of Cape Coast (UCC) by the past John Mahama's organization out of appreciation for the late President.


The building has a meeting corridor, media room, e-auditoriums, workplaces, gathering, secretariat, VVIP Parlor, kitchen, gallery, rooftop porch garden, among different offices to empower it to work as an examination and memorabilia center point for the late President.




In any case, over six years after the appointing, the library has neglected to work on the grounds that the project worker clutched it primarily because of the disappointment of the State to pay him for the work done.


Subsequently, portions of the structure have crumbled with broken glass windows, eroded and non-useful climate control systems, broken roofs, stripping paint on walls, among different difficulties.




At a short giving over service, the CEO of GTA, Mr Akwasi Agyemang noticed that all issues had been made plans to prepare for the usage of the library.


He said it was basic to revamp the office to outfit its capability to add to the travel industry in the district and required a collaboration between the Palace and the Library.




"Given its nearness to the Cape Coast Palace and its importance, it will become one of the new attractions that we have in the region," he noted.




He further uncovered that the partners had consented to present novel thoughts and offices, for example, shops and a learning community for the young, to help modernize and improve the vision of the venture.




"The Library Authority will ensure that it turns into a learning place for the young in the region," he showed.
