A police corporal has been discovered dead in a strange state while on obligation at a check point at the Bia- Tano Forest in the Ahafo region.
The person who passed away has been classified as corporal Titus Avoka Azasiyande with service number 44986 and had been working at the Mim police station.
In accordance to the Police, the lifeless body was discovered with blood all over him around 8: 00 am on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
The deceased was found with his service rifle, serial number 158468, laying on top of it with the safety catch fully open.
A lumber truck driver who was travelling on the Kasapin- Bediako route discovered the body upon arriving at the checkpoint, according to police in Mim in the Asunafo North Municipality.
A Law enforcement agency Patrol team was sent to the scene where his Vivo mobile phone, food wrapped in a polythene bag and his Honda motorbike were discovered.
Since then, the body has been placed in the care of the Goaso Mortuary for preservation and investigation.

@Kwame Apiah: This is a very strange thing, what can kill a very strong police man during that night or was he attacked by a mob during his operation? This is the main reason why police people always need themselves, just imagine when someone is among him during the operation at the moment he won' t be dead even if that was a mob attack the other one will defend him or if that was a heart attack the other one will find out and then rush him to the nearby hospital, so I think this must needful to the government should do something about that.
