The two who are accused of fleeing the slaughter in AsinDansame 


The timely intervention of the Assin Fosu and Assin Praso police in the Center-North region saved two people from a gang that wanted to kill them inDansame and Adiembra respectively.

The angry youths numbering about 300, attacked the two helpless men in different placeson the morning of Sunday July 16, 2023, who were suspectedof performing human rituals and murders that have increased in the area despite the presence of the police. The police, after hearing, moved workers to the scene to savethe day. 

Meanwhile, the person who was rescued from the crowd inAssin Adiembra, was taken to the hospital for treatment while others who were rescued fromAssin Dansame were transferred to the police for investigation. There has been tension in the Assin North community due to the high number of murders recorded in the area in recent times, such as women and vulnerable children. 

The
 shocking death was said to have shocked the community, especially the youth who were looking for criminals to arrestthem. Some of the angry youthswho spoke to Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan believe that foreignersand their counterparts are responsible for heinous crimes,hence the increase in recorded cases. 

“Now we are vigilant and monitoring the movements of the suspects. Although we trust the police and the courts, there is no rush to pursue justice. Therefore, we will take the law into our hands and kill anyonewe think is involved in the murder if caught," theylamented. Meanwhile, the Assin Fosu Divisional Commander, ACP Edith Gaanu and the national security chairman, Mr.Charles Ohene Andoh have strongly criticized the immediate justice that the youths took to solve the problem. 

They are all calling for calm asthe police are taking drastic measures to stop the menace.
