Liverpool are interested in signing Leon Goretzka, according to Football Transfers. The Merseyside club is aiming to strengthen their midfield for next season and have their sights set on the 28-year-old.
Liverpool underperformed last season, finishing outside the top four. As a result, they will not participate in the Champions League next season. Their struggles were exacerbated by an ineffective and ageing midfield.
As a result, their manager, Jurgen Klopp, is eager to complete a center-of-the-field revamp. The Merseyside club decided not to re-sign James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Following the departure of the three, they were able to sign Alexis Mac.The player admires Jurgen Klopp and would want to work for him. Because of his versatility, the German manager would also like to have him on his team. The 28-year-old has the ability to play as a No.10, No.8, and No.6.
His arrival will not only add depth, but will also provide Klopp with a plethora of choices to work with. With Liverpool wanting him and Bayern Munich willing to sell, it will be intriguing to see if they can strike a deal for his services.
