Gabriel Jesus chips MLS All Stars keeper, the American commentator called it ‘absolutely disgusting’

If this pre-season tour is anything to go by, Gabriel Jesus is serious.

The Arsenal forward opened the scoring against the MLS All Stars with a close-in header from outside the box.

The outrageous finish sent US Apple+ commentators into a frenzy with one calling it "absolutely disgusting".

And to be fair, that's a pretty good review.

Less than five minutes after their friendly match at Audi Field in Washington, the Gunners shed their first blood.

Catching the main MLS All Stars during the break, Jorginho sent a pass to Bukayo Saka, Arsenal fan favorite.

Spilling down the right flank, Saka cut in and beat a man before passing the ball to Jesus, who hesitated just outside the box.

With the most skillful touch of the ball, the Brazilian player put the ball over the head of All Stars goalkeeper Roman Burki.

The attempt went into the upper left corner of the net, drawing cheers from across the stadium. Meanwhile, Jesus celebrates, dancing salsa near the corner flagpole.

Even the people in the comment box couldn't contain themselves.

"It's an All Star game, show it off! That's exactly what Gabriel Jesus did," one of the broadcasters said.

Another commenter then interjected, saying:

"I mean, it's just absolutely disgusting ending!

"That's the identity of this Arsenal team because they have that composure, that flair and that quality in the bottom third of the pitch."

When the official MLS Twitter account posted a clip of the goal on social media, fans wasted no time entering the comments section to give their opinion.

Why is the comment section like Monday Night Raw

One person said:

"Pre-season, Jesus was dangerous."

While another added:

"The caption below sells it."

Meanwhile, responding to Bleacher Report's post, one fan joked:

"Why does the comment section sound like Raw Monday?"

And in the 22nd minute, Leandro Trossard widened the gap for Arsenal with a shot from outside the box.
