New details emerge in the ongoing discussion of Nigerian doctor Olufunmilayo who was wrongfully accused by his lover whom he helped into the UK. According to details online, Dr. Funmilayo met her lover Dr. Bolanle Aseyan on social media during the pandemic, the two fell live and began dating, Dr. Bolanle opted that, she would like to come stay with Dr. Funmilayo who was already based in the United Kingdom. He agreed and helped her obtain a visa and relocated there, during her stay, she never paid for rent or any bills, all was covered by Funmilayo due to the love he had grown towards her.
However, later in their dating, Dr. Funmilayo opted to separate from the relationship since he had found some red flags and would not wish to get married to her. Dr. Bolanle then accused Dr. Funmilayo of rape that got him arrested and his work was also suspended. After three years of trauma, yesterday, the 19th of July, 2023, Dr. Funmilayo was found not guilty of all the crimes leveled against him by his lover Dr. Bolanle Aseyan.
