I spent some minutes staring and admiring the beauty of such creature sitting before me. I continue staring and was left in mind that I didn't know when she called me.
"Hey! What's your name dude?" She asked for the second time and this time I startled and answered her.
"Am Divine and a graduate of University of Nigeria Nsukka" I explained.
"Nice meeting you here, I think I like u but can you work? " She asked now staring at me.
"Yes ma'am" I replied but she smirked.
"Hold it there! Am Debbie and u can address me as Debbie cash" she corrected.
" Sorry Debbie cash" I replied.
Truth be told, she is indeed Debbie cash as she said because her classic and endowed look explained everything.
"Are u married?" She asked after some seconds of silent.
"Not at all, all I need now is money" I said desperately.
"I will change it life if u can comply with me, I have all it takes to make u rich but u have to be trustworthy and secretive" she said and I kept nodding repeatedly.
" Here is my card, call me by 7:00pm, I will direct you to where we will meet" she said and I smiled happily as I insert the card in my wallet.
She gave me some amount of money which I didn't count.
"Thanks alot" I appreciated and exited the office happily.
I got home and met my roommate Jacob at home cooking.
Jacob is my good friend and a such a supportive friend everyone can dream of.
He has been the one feeding and footing all my bills since I came to Lagos and he never complained for once.
"U look happy today" he said as I came in.
"Yeah and that is because I have some hope that today is better than other days" I said happily as we exchanged pleasantry.
" Thank God for that, have u gotten work?" He asked looking so desperate to hear me out.
" Not yet but someone have agreed to offer me some help if I can comply" I replied.
" Comply? I don't understand 🤔
How do u mean?" He asked now with much concern.
"That was exactly how she said it bro, I just pray that this one works" I added and he breathed down.
"But did she gave you some clue of the type of work u are going to be doing?" He asked further.
"Not really but she asked me to come this evening by 7pm" I said and he nodded positively and quickly went in to check what he was cooking.
I left the house before 7 to the hotel where Miss Debbie asked me to meet her. I didn't informed my friend Jacob that I was going to meet her in a hotel.
