American rapper Asap Rocky faces serious backlashes on social media after he posted a picture of his newly acquired neckpiece with the letter z. Asap Rocky who might one way or the other have his reason for choosing to acquire the exact jewelry posted on his official Instagram page. But people interpreted Rocky’s Z pendant as a way of supporting Russia in the ongoing Ukraine war, but according to multiple sources, the pendant is a homage to his son, RZA whom he shares with singer Rihanna.
After posting on his Instagram, users took to the comments backlashing Asap, most users called his post hateful and disrespectful, others also accused him of supporting genocide, and others also threatened to cancel him if he continues to move like that. Asap Rocky who may have had other reasons for posting the picture has now deleted the post as a sign of respect and to prove that, perhaps he listens to his fans. Although the tweet has been deleted from his Instagram story, it's still trending on other social media handles. The “Z” pendant is made up of three small Russian T-90 tanks.

Anyone thinking ASAP Rocky would wear a pendant supporting Russia probably grew up under power lines eating lead paint.
Others also defended the rapper claiming he's just an artist who just liked the sign of the pendant and ordered for it. Asap is yet to respond to these assertions by his fans and online users although the post has now been deleted.
Adding to it, users also shared pictures of Asap Rocky wearing a T-shirt with the inscription stop the war, signifying he do not support neither Ukraine or Russia.
