My cousin decided to sell his supermarket the day he discovered a 30m a month racket in purchasing.
They inflated invoices from competing suppliers.
The sophistication of the fraud took us out. All internal control systems couldn't pick it up. He discovered it purely by chance.

I once managed a company, where my operators were busy building houses exploiting the company whereas I was having sleepless nights trying to break-even, and paying their salaries. Inventory theft is one of the most vulnerable aspects. Workers in Nigeria no dey fear God.

The dude who built my father's crib did the same thing. By the time he was done, he had built a house for himself, one for his parents, and got himself a nice SUV. He is my dad's kin. Not even a stranger.

A big hôtel in my area discovered how the guy in charge of the drinks was selling fake wine for 6years at the normal price ...a customer came in and bought an expensive wine and called the attention of the mgt that it was a fake ...hotel stocks original…worker sells fake Or the bet9ja major shop holder in my area ..he's brother came back from school and uncovered the biznes has lost over 41million naira in a year..if you see the scope the 2 workers used in diverting the funds...U would be amazed at how intelligent people can be when it's stealing.

Whenever I go to buy office supplies, I've noticed the sales attendant always asks if to put the exact price on the receipt. I am like yes. I always wondered why they ask that. I found out later. The corruption is deep. We have a long way to go.

At my former employer's yard, workers were stealing diesel. Based on principle I didn't get myself involved, when the thing was cast they tried roping me in lol. Me that was two steps ahead with all my proofs, bottom line they got sacked I didn't
