Aston Villa are ‘expected’ to make an offer for Rennes winger Jeremy Doku after seeing an initial bid for the Belgian rejected, according to reports.
The club is closing in on the signing of Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby as their third new arrival of the summer. Villa have agreed a fee with the German club for the Frenchman. It was originally reported that Doku was targeted as an alternative option to Diaby for Villa. But it has since been claimed that the club is keen to do a deal for both players this summer.
