Harry Kane’s wife ‘is in Munich and looking for a house’ as Bayern edge closer to huge transfer of Tottenham star
The striker overtook Wayne Rooney to become the second-highest Premier League goalscorer last season and also became the club’s all-time top marksman.
But it was another year of disappointment for him despite those personal accolades as his wait to win a trophy as a senior pro went on.
Spurs are currently refusing to sell him for less than £100million and are willing to risk losing him for nothing in 12 months but still hope to tie him down to a new agreement that would increase his £300,000-per-week wages.
But we reported yesterday that Kane won't accept any new contract offers from Tottenham and is instead keen on moving to Bayern Munich.
Bayern have had two bids turned down for Kane with their latest offer being worth £68.5m plus add-ons, and a third is expected.
Spurs denied an official offer had ever been received and that if there had been one, it would be rejected as they do not want to sell their talisman.
However, while Kane is currently in Thailand preparing for Sunday’s friendly with Leicester City, Bild have claimed his partner has already been looking at properties in Munich.
They state that his childhood sweetheart Katie Goodland, who he married in 2019, and other members of his family have been in Munich over the past few days to explore international schools and properties in the district of Grunwald in Bavaria.
She was there when Kane broke Wayne Rooney's record to become England's all time record goalscorer in March.
The fitness instructor started dating the star in school and the couple have two dogs called Brady and Wilson, named after NFL quarterbacks Tom Brady and Russell Wilson.
Kane and Katie currently have three children together, Ivy, Vivienne Jane and Louis. However, three will soon be four as the pair have announced that they are expecting a fourth child.
Meanwhile, Bayern have staged peace talks with Tottenham Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to ensure their bid to land Kane has notl been wrecked.
Red-faced Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen has telephoned Levy to smooth over any issues after a club legend spoke out about the Kane situation.
Honorary president Uli Hoeness said last weekend: “Harry Kane has clearly signalled in all conversations that his decision stands - and if he keeps to his word, then we'll get him, because then Tottenham will have to buckle.
“Kane wants to play internationally and luckily for us Tottenham will not be active internationally next year."
Before that outburst, Dreesen had insisted it was better to treat other teams with respect.
The Bayern chief met Levy in London on Thursday and wanted to ensure that both clubs remained on good terms and feared Levy would have been fuming over the Hoeness comments.
