?Mauricio Pochettino: "It was a really tough game. Very happy because of many positive things after three weeks of working. It’s important to congratulate the players because the attitude was amazing and they are working really hard."

?Mauricio Pochettino: "Some goals were painful, but at the same time we need to work more to avoid these situations. But in general I’m so pleased. The will of the players and staff… we have to congratulate. I’m so happy."

?Mauricio Pochettino: "It’s good for the players to build the confidence to score. I’m happy for them. It’s fantastic. It’s very good news, we need to keep going."

?Mauricio Pochettino on Mykhailo Mudryk: "He’s a great, young talent. We need to make him feel important in our platform. That is a big challenge for us to put him in a place that he feels comfortable to show his amazing talent."

?Mauricio Pochettino: "We need to work much more in all the aspects and areas of the team. Games like today will help us to build in the best way. So far, so good."

?Mauricio Pochettino: "We are happy for the fans. Never happy when conceding goals, but it's normal nearly three weeks into pre-season. I am happy and saw many positive things."

?Mauricio Pochettino: "For Jackson and Mudryk it's important to score. It's the same for Nkunku. We are now going to try and improve. I think today we had a little bit more capacity to stay calm and score goals."

?Mauricio Pochettino on Nicolas Jackson: "I think when Chelsea sign a player like him it's because Chelsea detect something important. He is a big talent that needs time to adapt."

?Mauricio Pochettino: "For sure, in future I want to see Jackson with Nkunku."

?Mauricio Pochettino: "We need to be careful. When you play for Chelsea, people expect to win. Yes, we have many young but we need experience also. We are working hard to add players."

?Mauricio Pochettino on Levi Colwill: "We don't need to say anything or make a statement. He is our player and he is going to continue with us. I am so happy with him and he can become one of the greatest centre-backs in England."

Brighton report

Yes its only pre season but here is the card

-Gusto is the new beast

If Reece gets injured this season. There will be less worry. Gusto looks made for epl battles

_Sterling Troubles

The man has plenty of work to do with his technical skills. If this play reflects how he will be in the new season, then we should perhaps start sweet talking some Saudi guys this early.

-The pressing

Has greatly improved. A 100% better than last season but way off the required standards especially our second moves anticipation is still poor. We are also Still struggling with confidence and technique playing from the back.

-Maatsen

May be good with pressing from front but going forward his technique looks rugged.

-Jackson

The man is not Havertz. He can hold, he presses and he bangs goals. Our fast paced forwards will have a field day with his holding and ball relaying abilities.

-Gallagher

As have always pointed out, Gallagher's position is the hole. Anticipate tackles well, was aggressive but still issues with his control and movement skills. This area needs strengthening without doubt. We just can't afford to depend on him there as the first option this season.

-Silva and Colwill

The partnership worked well and composed. Something tells me this is will be the pair for next season.

-The Kids

Humphrey needs to go on loan. Still struggles with positioning. Casadei would struggle without a real defensive midfielder besides him. His pace and aggresion had issues. He can however be played as Enzos substitute. Andre was also average and made some encouraging tackles. Hall looked like the master he already is.

Mudryk

The man looks like the Mudryk we wanted.

The team struggled with Brighton's  field stretching techniques around our box. Plenty of the times we failed to track their shadow attackers. But this was miles way better than the shitty team we had last season considering that brighton played most of their core attacking players. The new season looks promising.
