With its inception around 2007, the Fitbit quickly became a global phenomenon, selling over 100 million devices to more than 28 million individuals. Initially a non-adopter, I was sceptical about the value of a device to motivate and track activity, given my dedication to regular exercise. However, an unexpected opportunity to receive a free Fitbit from my health insurance company led to a revelation, turning me into a fervent advocate.

From the moment I strapped on the sleek and impressive Fitbit Versa Lite, my perspective underwent a remarkable transformation.
