However, Chief Tony Okocha, the coordinator of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Vanguard (BAT-V), discredited the allegation in an interview by stating that "the rumour is the complete work of mischief makers."
According to the leader of the APC, the former governor who was a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) was a fantastic performer who was cherished by Nigerians and had a deep regard for those in authority over him.
The report that Wike Ganduje's name has been deleted from the list of ministers is a fabrication.
According to Okocha, Wike is a lover of President Tinubu, and this is the reason why he worked for the president in Rivers State during the presidential election in the state in 2023. Okocha adds that the claim has no basis in reality, but he maintains that Wike is a lover of President Tinubu.
Okocha insisted that the individual who delivered the news was not a member of the DSS nor a member of the personnel working at the presidential palace.
After that, he inquired:
"Where did he then get the story that Wike's name was removed by the security service?"
