NDC Communicator, Margaret Ansei has finally revealed how Madam Cecilia Dapaah' s husband, Mr Daniel Osei Kuffour narrated the whole incident to the court including what he said about the $1 million cash his wife allegedly stole.
According to Mr Daniel Osei Kuffour, there are days that both he and his wife Cecilia Dapaah won' t be home from 6am to 8pm. On their blind side, the two house maids were doing their operations when they weren' t in the house. This continued for a year until he came home unannounced on one of the days only to catch them red handed stealing the money.
" If the man [Daniel Osei Kuffour, Cecilia Dapaah' s husband) had not come to meet them, they would never know that monies were stolen from them, if you have a $1m in your bedroom, that will be the first place you will go after work, " Margaret added.
She continued that to the extent that both he the husband Mr Daniel Osei Kuffour and his wife couldn' t find the robbery for a whole year shows that they have stolen more than we can imagine.
" Under normal circumstances, those big businessmen who do businesses have safes in their homes, so, how much is in her safe? " Margaret Ansei quizzed and continued " because the stolen monies are just bread cramps, bread cramps on the dining table, the surpluses, the safe is so packed that they cannot pack anymore. "
" What surprises me is the hundred thousand Ghana cedis one of the house helps gave to her ex- boyfriend. The money is so much that, the househelp charitably gave [an] ex- boyfriend 100, 000 cash, so among the five accused, one of the maid' s fathers also received 50, 000. The money is so much that, the girl doesn' t know what to do with the money" she concluded.
