The 33-year-old guided Liverpool to several titles, including the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
The Reds are allegedly interested in signing Southampton midfielder Lavia for £45 million. Earlier this week, Mail Sport revealed that the club was contemplating a second approach for Lavia after their initial offer of £34 million plus £4 million was rejected.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be interested in signing Lavia this summer in order to strengthen his squad ahead of next season's competitions.

Sky Sports reports that Manchester United and Atalanta Bergamo have reached a deal for the transfer of teenage Danish attacker Rasmus Hojlund (20). According to the British press, Hojlund would choose Manchester United over PSG with a slightly greater offer (€10 million more bonus).
