1Pet.4.13 - But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

_"So far we are still alive,we can eat an elephant meat"._ This is an adage that affirms with the word of God that nothing lasts forever,weeping may endure for a night,but joy cometh in the morning.
In this text,The "World" that Jesus said He has conquered for your sake isn't this planet earth.It is every tribulations,trials and every unpleasant things that afflicts men.Although,Jesus didn't say there won't hunger,homelessness,defeat or troubles...But,he assured us one thing that he has fought that battle for us.He said,"I have conquered the world",not "I will conquer the world". What does that tell you? It means that situation you are passing through cannot swallow you.Infact,*Isaiah 43:2* confirmed this.
You think God is slow in fulfilling the promises he made to you,even before you were born? He isn't slow at all! He's only clearing obstacles and roadblocks and condemning every tongue that might rise against your lifting,Isaiah 45:1-3 confirmed it.
Moreover,It is too late to turn your back against Christ,because if you do...It's like deliberately falling to a fiery furnace .You would gain nothing outside Christ ,and if you were deceived and given things outside Christ,it is a poison coated with sugar,the more you enjoy the sugar,the more you swallow the poison.All you can just do,is to patiently wait on him.
In this waiting period,what you can do is to start gathering strength in prayers,fasting and thoroughly studying the word of God.Because...My God! The abundance of blessings,greatness,affluence coming to you,you would not be able to carry the weight with your light-weighted stamina,You will need to build capacity in your spirit.
I understand the Doctors diagnosed you of a _"Terminal illness?"_ But,what's that before Jesus?See,every sicknesses/ diseases known or unknown,Jesus had taken the whips for it, It is confirmed in Isaiah *"By his stripes we are healed..."* Did you think that verse,was just to be memorized?No! that is World that Jesus said in {John16:33},that He had conquered!
Brethen,I know how painful and frustrating it could be,but let's hold on to the assurance and keep confessing the last part of the bible text (John 16:33),every now and then.Keep saying it till it becomes a part of it,you will surely give a testimony concerning this...This,I can boast of in Christ.I pray,Jesus will strengthen your faith the more in Jesus' Name.
