REST,is only meant for those who has laboured on the field ,not those who keeps folding their arms doing nothing! It is a fraudulent act,if you sit and wait for others to bring their hard earned money for you to enjoy.
Hold on,I know you would want to remind me what the book of Isaiah says,' _The wealth of the gentiles shall be brought to you"_.That promise is for those who had poured the cold water on the ground, they will never get their feet burnt.I mean,those who had laboured according to their capacity.By the way,I'm smearing this teaching even to the secular jobs,not only spiritual aspects alone.
You sit at the corner of your room on a laptop defrauding people,then you come out to say,you are hardworking? The sweat that came out of you isn't a legal sweat,it is a cursed sweat because you habe killed and even run some lives down because of your fraudulent act.*In this sense,you are a lazy man! Real men work and earn legally.*
As a craftman,Customers gives work to do,you abandon it for weeks and then you keep wasting your energy on prayers,going to one mountain or the other,praying that God should change your financial status,HOW NA? You that you are slothful in little contracts,then you expect a bigger one? You are joking Sir!
However,the more hardworking you are,be smart-working as well.What I'm saying in essence is that,let your work carry excellence that they will find little or no mistake whatsoever in it,and disturbing my Father who is sitted majestically on His throne.He has given you the power and brain to work,WIELD IT!!!
As for Ministers of God,if you didn't receive a divine instruction not to work,please find something legal to do alongside ministry,so you won't burden your members.Because,you can be frustrated and then start placing heavy curses on them if they don't pay their tithes on time.When you get this right,you won't do ministry with desperation and all.
As a student,if you know you don't have to the capability to combine studies with job,then waste all your energy on studies and don't be slothful in it.In that way,your academics won't suffer loss.
I wish I could touch more areas,but the list will be endless.Whatever you find yourself doing,do it with all your might,so that you would be able to challenge God with what has been written concerming those who are hardworkers in Isaiah 62:8 *{Isa.62.8 - The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His mighty arm: Surely I will not again give your grain as food for your enemies, and [the invading sons of] aliens shall not drink your new wine for which you have toiled;}* Stay blessed!
