I wasn't expecting anything suspicious when I unlocked the phone and went through the texts.
I read it over and over again before scrolling through the second text and heaved a sigh of frustration.
I couldn't believed it, I couldn't stand it.
I tried checking more SMS but Debbie was coming back, yeah, she saw me already with the phone but I pretended to be doing something else with the phone.
"Hey, are you okay?" She asked and I nodded sluggishly.
"Let's go" I said when she stood looking at me unsatisfied with my look.
"Anyway, I have a good news for us" she said but I wasn't ready for any good news or so ever from her at that moment.
"Okay..." I replied coldly.
"Babe talk to me, anything the matter?" She asked again knowing that I wasn't the same as she left me.
" Am okay, what do you want to hear?" I replied now getting upset.
She swallowed hard and took and phone, she went through some apps and dropped the phone and zoomed off.
We stayed in silent throughout the drive back home.
Yeah, some of u will be wondering what happened to Jacob my good friend and my roommate. I stopped talking about him because it will make this story lengthy and more hard to understand.
This is some major things to know about him;
Jacob got more in loved with Jane and I started liking their friendship till Jacob told me that he has finally noticed that Jane was married with three kids. Her husband was living overseas, his a very wealthy and a business tycoon. He spends most of his time in abroad because of his business nature. Raphael (Jane's husband) asked Jane to move on with him in UK but she refused for a reason best known to her. He tried everything but Jane kept telling him that she was to be a best mum to their kids, she equally backed it up saying that she don't want her children to be ignorant of the African cultures and norms.
Mr Raphael gave up and continued his trips alone and comes back once in a blue moon, Jane was not a poor woman though, talking about money she is not dependent at all, she is wealthy.
Jacob noticed that when he was warned by some Raphael's friends who knows how and what it would lead Jacob to if Raphael finds out.
The break wasn't easy but Jane agreed to give up after seeing that Jacob has many evidence that explained that she was married.
Jacob met another met another lady and they were preparing for their wedding when I noticed what Debbie was up to.....

We got home and took our shower but not as usual that day.
We had dinner and she started up the conversation.
"We are going to inspect our new home tomorrow, the house will be for our honeymoon babe" she said and was shocked when she noticed that I wasn't amazed by that.
"Okay, that is good plan to lure a poor guy to ur prey" I answered and she shrugged.
"I don't understand, why are you making me remember that am the one begging for the is relationship to work?
Am I that bad to be treated like a woman for once? What is my offense?" She asked with tears.
"U don't have any offense ma'am, infact am the one with the greatest offense here and.... "
"What did u just called me?" She interrupted, "u called me ma'am?! Listen! Am tired of ur behavior and am now asking u this as a question.
Are you tired of me or just want to be with me because of what u wanted from me?" She asked almost kneeling down.
I wanted to walk out but I stood still and looked at her face looking so angry.
"Ur plans has been exposed, guess what, am not going to act smart here, do what u want to do and not going to be afraid of anything because u paid for it.
I have read the SMS before u and u don't need to prolong it till next week because we are not going to see my parents anymore. Goodnight" I said in finality and retired to bed.

He read which SMS before me?
I unlocked my phone and ran to my SMS box and noticed that I had two sms already read.
SMS 1👉 You are doing a great job babe, don't forget to be careful while visiting his parents next week, that will be the last time he will set his eyes on his poor sick mother. Poor dies chasing money while rich prospers spoiling spending on their prey.
What is this?
Who is this? The phone number was not saved and I don't know what is happening.
SMS 2 👉 Goodevening babe, doctor told me that you didn't come for treatment last week, what happened?
Please don't joke with ur health because HIV and AIDS is not malaria and typhoid.
I know that u haven't told ur ur sugar boy that u are HIV patient.
This is the one that exposed the first SMS. The text was sent via Jane's phone number and I was sure she was up to something.
I consoled myself and cleaned myself up and joined Divine in the room.
Jane is trying ruin my relationship and she is married already. What did she want?
I couldn't sleep that night, I was calculating on what to do, how to make Divine understand that this is the the most time I will ever need him by my side.
I was so much strong that very night that I couldn't understand what gave me such stamina and courage to withstand the pain.
I woke up before Divine the next day, did I said woke up?
Did I even sleep at all, anyway I got up from the bed before him and made breakfast for us since Chizzy wasn't around.
Divine was hurt and confused as I was looking at him while we were having our breakfast, I tried talking to him but I couldn't figured how to start it up.
"Do u want to say something?" He asked as he smiled harshly.
"Babe calm down, I know u never fought for this relationship more that I have done and am doing right now but just give me ur trust and patience, I love you" I said steiring my food with my fork.
"U know what, I need to hear something, just tell me anything let me know what is going on, I promise to understand it" he said and dropped his fork on the table with lost appetite.
"We are going to the hospital for check up right now, mention any hospital of ur choice, let's start from there, I want to gain ur trust before fight for the first SMS please" I said with tears.
"U want to be sure that u have infected me too?
U want to make sure that u have accomplished ur goal? Okay, I will go just to make u happy! " He yelled.
I was just looking at him with disbelieve, I couldn't talk again, tears spoke the rest for me.
Am I HIV positive?
U don't know, I haven't checked that before but am sure that God won't disappoint me.
I dressed up and so did Divine and we drove to the hospital he suggested since I was like devil now before him.
He was seating at the back seat, I wanted to protest but I let go of everything just to fight for my innocency.
The text was conducted and we were waiting for the results when doctor came out with unhappy look.
My heart skipped breath, I started sweating, Divine wasn't moved he was busy with his phone playing games.
"Can I see u privately?" Doctor said and I chuckled.
