Former First Lady Lordina Mahama earlier on Sunday made a post where she announced that she and her husband have been married for 31 years. She prayed for more strength in the coming years for her and her husband. This gesture of love was later replicated when John Dramani Mahama also made a post and thanked his wife for supporting and standing by him throughout the years that have gone by. Indeed, the couple won the hearts of many Ghanaians who didn' t know that they have been married for 31 years.

Congratulatory messages poured in for the couple throughout the day. Interestingly, one comment from a former National Democratic Congress executive has got many talking. Koku Anyidoho, a former NDC Deputy General Secretary has incurred the wrath of NDC supporters after he made some derogatory remarks about the former first lady.

It is no secret that Koku Anyidoho is bitter enemy of John Mahama. Koku has taken advantage of almost every situation to hit hard at the former president. He has in many interviews claimed that Mahama didn' t treat the late Atta Mills well. In a tweet, Koku Anyidoho questioned if Lordina Mahama has bleached her skin. This was in reaction to a photo Lordina Mahama put up to celebrate her 31st marriage anniversary with John.

Many Ghanaians didn' t take these comments lightly and blasted the former NDC executive. Many questioned if Koku had to stoop so low to even attack the wife of Mahama. Whereas some felt that Koku needs a psychiatrist, some called him to respect his former boss, Atta Mills and stop the needless attacks aimed at Mahama. Check out some of the comments.

Ever since Koku Anyidoho lost his bid to become NDC general secretary he has launched attack upon attack on the leadership of the party. He has openly also expressed his love for the ruling New Patriotic Party and has asserted that the party will win the 2024 elections.
