Arsenal trounced Barcelona 5-3 in their first preseason match. The defeat, however, came just hours after the squad was stricken with a virus that prevented the men from training.

Barcelona came out smoking in their second game, sweeping Real Madrid 3-0 thanks to Xavi's hard effort.
The Blaugrana looked defensively secure once more, with a few slips expected in a preseason friendly.
