There is a viral post fast gaining attention on the microblogging platform Twitter, former president of the United States Of America, Donald J Trump, is currently facing criminal charges for efforts to overturn the 2020 general elections. According to prosecutors, Do Alf Trump who is seeking the white house in 2024 assaulted the “bedrock function of democracy”. In all this, trump supporters are not happy with the way the former president is currently being treated.
A popular Twitter account known for posting and exposing corruption and other acceptable kinds of stuff known by the handle @Endwokeness made a tweet revealing that, ex-president Barack Obama made wars which lead to thousands of lives been lit in the process but he walks about freely and Trump who never caused any wars in his tenure of office is currently facing 78 criminal charges. I mean, I sorta get the point of the meme, but this is asserting that simply because there were no indictments, those presidents were paragons of virtue.
We all know that each of them had their issues.
Major issues. Like wars, scandals, wiretapping US citizens, etc.

I will never understand the coldness behind the smile of bloodshed; instead of protecting the children, they lead them to war. The citizens shouldn't have to bare the weight of their government enemies.

As much as I'm concerned over the boldness to indict for purely political intentions, what do the wars have to do with this? Half of Obama's wars were inherited from Bush, also war isn't always a bad option (eg fighting Nazis in WW2).
