For the past 2 weeks' issues regarding Ghana' s former Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources has been trending. Despite the minister' s resignation, many have still called for the prosecution of the former minister and MP for Bantama. Patience Botwe, a former house help of Cecilia Dapaah and 4 others are standing trial for stealing from the house of Cecilia and her husband Kufuor. Many have been wondering what the Attorney General has to say about the whole issue.
Latest information dropped by Paul Adom Otchere has shown how Patience Botwe, the first accused came to the home of Cecilia Dapaah. Patience Botwe and 4 others stand accused of stealing a huge sum of money alongside some expensive accessories from Cecilia Dapaah and her husband. The other 4 standing accused are Sarah Agyei, also a house help, Benjamin Sowah, current boyfriend of Patience Botwe, Kweku Botwe, the father of Patience and Malik Dauda, the ex- boyfriend of Patience.
Paul Adom Otchere claims that Malik Dauda, the former boyfriend of Patience and an employee of Cecilia and Kuffuor, impregnated Patience, an outsider and because he had no money he informed Cecilia Dapaah about it. Patience who hitherto didn' t know Cecilia came to live in the house because Malik spoke and pleaded with Cecilia and husband that he needed money to cater for his girlfriend and unborn baby.
To assist Malik, Patience was employed and she started working in the house. After some time, she broke up with Malik and got herself a new guy, Benjamin Sowah. According to Paul, if Cecilia and Kuffuor had not assisted Malik and brought Patience over all this would not have happened. He noted that despite all the allegations, Cecilia is innocent and the ongoing investigations will vindicate her.
In a related piece of information, Paul mentioned that the Attorney General, Godfred Dame has called on the Criminal Investigations Department to probe the owners of the$200, 000 and 300, 000 Euros and also find out how the owners came by those huge sums of money.
