A year ago
A sad news circulating on the micro-blogging platform Twitter has, a young and vibrant female doctor who had just two weeks to complete her housemanship at an undisclosed hospital tragically lost her life to an elevator accident. According to news gathered online and people who have been to the hospital and used the said the elevator before, the elevator was said to have not been in good shape for over one year and they have tried all means to alert the authorities but to no avail, which due to the negligence gas cost the life of this innocent soul.
A Twitter user identified as @lx_amara shared some disturbing footage of the aftermath of the accident and there is no way one could watch the video without tears in their eyes. The user also shared a direct message from a person who wanted to be anonymous asserting that, the said elevator has been faulty the over one year and the person in charge might have spent the money given to him by the authorities to repair the elevator. The sad incident was said to have happened in Odan one of the cities of Lagos in Nigeria. Adding to the news, it was also revealed that, the elevator the deceased was in fell from the 10th floor of the building to the ground.

This is heartbreaking....why are those saddled with the responsibility to oversee the affairs of such organizations mostly neglecting the maintenance of such structures. The CMD must be QUERIED!
