Alex Sackey who is the NCCE Greater Accra Regional Director has asked Ghanaians to take a sober reflection on how to mark the occasion.

As a country we are always asking how the government can help us and not how we can also help the government. We do not have much activities to Mark the celebration apart from symposia's and lectures organized to mark the occasion.

He also said that Ghanaians should learn from their past  leaders who toiled with their blood and made good sacrifices for the country.Today we are celebrating Founders' Day to mark our past leaders hard work, dedication and success for the country.

The youth must learn to uphold the right values and also show discipline like some of our leaders did in the past. Our leaders were  committed to their goals and work.

It's time to put up good morals at our work places or in our field of work. During working hours, people should not take advantage to put up negative work ethics like doing lotto forecasting, chatting unnecessarily, arguing about football or talking about politics. We must first think about productivity at work which the returns are used to pay workers. It's important people pay attention to work and seriously focus more on productivity.

Meanwhile talking to Homebase TV, Mr. Alex Sackey said these days most people engage in politics not thinking about what they can do for their country but rather expecting what they can get from politics which is not helping the country. He further stated that there is high rather of corruption because when the auditor general report was out some monies that were meant to be used for the country have ended up with some individuals.

According to him, these was not how our forefathers who fought for the country behaved. It's time for us to think right as a people and change our attitude. A sober Reflection on this day will help the youth a lot can let them know how our past leaders did their things. He added
