YOUR WORDS AS A CHRISTIAN
A Christian should never say anything that goes against what the Bible teaches. Our words must be seasoned as salt, sweet as honey but with wisdom and knowledge as a born-again Christian. Our words must be born out of love and righteousness as we communicate to others.
We must be an example as Christ is our Lord and Savior.
Talking about what the Bible teaches is equivalent to speaking the words of God.
We preach the word of God and not the thought of man.
Let's consider 1 PETER 4:11, 11 If any man speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
So indeed it's God that gives what we speak and minister.
EPHESIANS 4:29 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Don't speak profane and call in Technology, or 21st-century Christians No.
JAMES 4:11 11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
TITUS 3:2 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all men.
You are accountable for the words you use. If you have nothing positive to say, the Bible is clear: be quiet.
SAY THIS WITH FAITH: Lord, assist me to stay quiet unless I have anything to say that you would find acceptable.
