Bishop Charles Agyinasare has been trending for some days now for certain comments he made while ministering. It can be recalled that some few weeks ago, the leader and founder of the Perez Chapel International caused an uproar among many people in the Volta Region when he is noted to have said that Nogokpo is the haven for witches. The man of God was subsequently invited to the town to apologize to the leaders of the town, a gesture the man of God failed to honor.
Later there were rumors that Agyinasare has 14 days or something bad might happen to him. It been many days and last week in a video that has gone viral, the man of God is seen giving thanks to God. Agyinasare mentioned that despite the threats and accusations against him he is still alive. He went on to assure his congregation that he has many more years to live and many more demons to cast out.
This video has however displeased a pro NPP lawyer. Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has questioned why Charles Agyinasare will raise an issue that is long dead. He questioned the moral right of Agyinasare to come out and declare himself a saint when indeed no one cursed him to die. According to Maurice Ampaw, the man of God needs to be advised because his next utterances that refers to someone as a witch could land him in trouble. He noted that he doesn' t expect anything better from Agyinasare as long as he is counseled by elders like Sam George.
They invited you to a meeting and you didn' t go. I didn' t see them cursing you that you will die. No one was expecting Nogokpo to punish you. Who told you the gods were fighting you? There was no curse. Now there is a law against calling people witches. If you try again you will be sent to court. Do your work and stop acting like a slay king pastor. You have to be very careful. The witchcraft bill has been passed and it is a crime to label someone a witch. If you continue you will land yourself in trouble, " Maurice Ampaw said.
