Private attorney Mr. Kwame Jantuah has requested information from Ghana's Special Prosecutor, Mr. Kissi Agyebeng, about whether he has been successful in establishing the veracity of the claims of corruption against the former Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah.

Mr. Jantuah discussed his opinions in an interview with "Big Issue" on TV3 as sighted by Scooper news. He highlighted that under Ghanaian law, a person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty, thus the Special Prosecutor should disclose whether or not he has been successful in establishing evidence of corruption against Cecilia Dapaah.

Cecilia Dapaah's home was searched by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), who discovered a total of $590,000 and GH2.73 million inside. Following suspicions of corruption and claims of stolen money from her residence, the OSP launched the search.
Mr. Jantuah's remarks emphasize the value of openness and due process in judicial proceedings, as well as the public's right to know the results of such investigations. The matter is scheduled to be heard in court.
