Tamale Technical University, SRC week celebration postponed, because some executives have stolen a Plasma TV which is 55 inches that was bought for the school.
Tamale Technical University SRC executives have stolen a 55 inches plasma TV. People were surprised because none of the glass nor the luver was broken. So they are suspecting three people from the office.
After the incident of the stolen plasma, so many people were question, and all figures were pointing at three people and those three people were Abdul-Fatau Mohadeen, Edna and the cleaner.
Even though according to sources that "they brought the budget for the Plasma TV and decoder that will be use for the program and it was nine thousand, one hundred Ghana cedis (Ghc9100.00)" and the Dean of students popularly known as Dr. Alolo signed a cheque for the Plasma TV and the decoder to be bought at Amin Pras.
Later on that same day, they came back saying Amin Pras doesn't tolerate cheque. Dr. Alolo told that, this is not true. He even told them that "if Amin Pras doesn't tolerate cheque then why don't you go and withdraw the money and then go back for both the Plasma TV and the decoder at that same Amin Pras".
After the withdrawal of the money, His Excellence John Pual and Dr. Alolo saw an alert confirming that the money is really withdrawn. But here in the case, Dr. Alolo was saying he didn't see any plasma TV that will show that, he really bought the plasma TV talkless of gotten stolen and Abdul-Fatau Mohadeen keeps on insisting that he actually bought the plasma and the decoder.
Dr. Alolo told them, then "if the plasma TV was actually bought then, the day before this issue was raised, I saw a motorbike standing in front of the SRC secretariat when it was almost 10PM to 11PM when I was entering the TaTU hospital to visit a patient, which was not mend to be there at that time of day".
So therefore, the Plasma TV was stolen by the some of the executives from the office. And if the TV is not found the celebration is never going to take place. So five days was given for the Plasma TV to be replaced.
