Shatta Wale, a controversial dancehall musician, recently made the brazen claim that no Ghanaian artist is on the same level as Asake, a Nigerian singer and performer who is signed to YBNL Nation. Shatta Wale is known for his controversial dancehall music.

His remarks, which were delivered on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, during a Twitter Space, have created a whirlwind of discussions and arguments within the industry as well as among fans.

Asaake is the only Ghanaian musician to ever achieve such success. Don't even bring up the Asake issue in this conversation. Nobody, not even I (Shatta Wale), so there's no point in even bringing that up. He cautioned, "Don't bring up the Asake name."

Asake, a rising star in the world of music, has been able to win the attention and admiration of a great number of people thanks to his singular musical style and engaging live performances.

Music critics agree that his most recent performance, which took place at the O2 Arena on Sunday, August 20, 2023, was nothing short of "historic." This is also partially attributable to the meteoric rise and widespread influence of Asake's music, which has struck a chord with a large number of listeners.

However, the comparison that Shatta Wale made between his own stature and that of Asake is not the only thing that has caused controversy.

The artist known for his hit 'Shatta Movement' also discussed his personal goals and objectives inside the music industry.

He spoke frankly about his troubles in the past and the objectives he has for himself, and he questioned why he should put his life in danger to fill facilities such as the O2 Arena.

Instead of working to increase his fan base and fill venues, the dancehall star who has won multiple awards claims that he is more concerned with expanding his business and amassing huge cash.

"You people call me a drug addict; why should I risk my life to fill a place for Ghanaians or in the music industry?" "Why should I risk my life to fill a place for Ghanaians or in the music industry?" I am fine, I wanted to purchase house, lands, and investments, and I am fine; thus, filling the O2 is not my priority; my focus is to keep a billion dollars in my account, and that is where I am at right now. According to his point of view, "no one should bother me about filling the 02 or my music."

He also stated that he is pleased with his present accomplishments, including his performance at the Accra Sports Stadium, because he did not receive support from within the Ghanaian music industry to push his agenda. He stated this because he did not receive support from within the Ghanaian music industry.

"After I filled the Accra Sports stadium, Ghanaians should have given me a helping hand to fill the 02 because I am not from London to be able to fill up the 02," he offered. "Ghanaians should have given me a helping hand to fill the 02 because I am not from London to be able to fill up the 02."

He concluded by saying, "If the Ghanaian industry is trying to burst someone who single-handedly filled the sports stadium without any promotions, what more can I do?"
