In an official statement authored by Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary of the NDC, it was announced that these new appointments garnered unanimous endorsement during a convened meeting of the party's National Executive Committee on August 24, 2023. The carefully considered selections reflect the party's commitment to assembling a proficient team to navigate the upcoming challenges.
The trio of Professor Joshua Alabi, Dr. Samuel Sarpong, and Abdul Rauf Khalid have been entrusted with the responsibility of Vice Chairmen of the NDC. Their induction is projected to inject a rich blend of experience and specialized knowledge into the party's leadership stratum, potentially yielding a more dynamic and innovative approach.
In an anticipatory move towards the pivotal 2024 elections, the NDC has also enlisted the services of Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, a former Minister of Communications, as the Director of Elections and IT.
